Scope of Work

Electro-mechanical design, tender document & execution drawing preparation, and construction supervision.

Project Description

The existing areas extended to the boundaries , and reconfigured for a Rubber tyred Gantry Crane ( RTGC ) operation to provide approximately 20.0 Hectares of yard space. Storm water gully pits, fire hydrants and lighting masts will need to be relocated to accommodate the new container stacking layout..

It is equipped with 3 dockside gantry cranes, 6 rubber tyred type gantry cranes, top lifts and empty handlers

Additional facilities required include:

  • crane rail and rear support beam
  • HV Electrical Supply
  • Installation of RTGC runways
  • Gatehouse and basic Buildings
  • Reefer Facility
  • Extensions to LV Electrical and Communications systems
  • IT / Operational Systems
  • Include Rail Siding if required.

Initially it is envisaged to install 2 x QC’s, 6x RTGC’s, 2x Reach stackers, 1 x ECH andmiscellaneous other equipment.
