Planning &feasibility Study
It is expected that the existing port of safaga will not be able to accommodate all the needs of urban. and industrial development in mid and south Egypt.
As a part of Great Safaga port scheme. This project is an extension of the existing activities of current Safaga multipurpose terminal.
The project includes a 400 meter, 12 meter deep long new multipurpose Quay and Yards areas of 25 Hectare which will be used for RORO ships, and multipurpose small container and general large ships serving the increasing traffic of goods and passengers between Egypt and the Gulf Arab states Via Saudi Arabia and the traffic of goods to Great African and countries.
Expected through output will be 4.5 million ton/year 2022 to reach 7 million ton/year in 2030
