Scope of Work

Preparing the architectural design, landscape design, structural & execution drawings ,feasibility studies ,all architectural & structure design works ,electrical ,communications ,information technology networks ,monitoring and alert systems ,HVAC ,sanitary and utilities, construction supervision and project management.

Project Description

The project including the rebuilding of the maritime station of Alexandria port as a state of the Art cruise terminal. The 5400 meter site was re planned to accommodate large scale cruise ships.

The project includes development of the main entrance hall for passengers and the customs hall together with the free shop hall.

The project includes the utilization of tensioned fabric membrane roofs for covering of main passenger spaces. In general, the project aims at financing the terminal development project through utilization of additional surrounding buildings in order to develop one of the largest maritime and trade centers in the Mediterranean to accommodate 4000 passengers at a time.

The project includes 7000 meter square of commercial, retail and restaurant spaces, customs police offices, traditional trading center, gate and bridge to city center, car parking, coach parking, landscaping, fencing and infrastructure.

The project includes full rehabilitation of three quay with total length of 890 meter long , 10 meter deep. Total annual capacity increased from 270000 tourist in 2008 to 350000 in 2010 and expected to reach 700000 in 2020.
